Mrs Joan Ashcroft (nee Anderson)

26th June 2026, peacefully at her home, Ballyhenry Road, Newtownabbey.

Beloved wife of the late Gilbert. Much loved mother of Robert and Helen. Dear mother-in-law of Lorraine and Karel. Devoted grandmother of Sophie and partner Will, Florence and partner Tairon, Tobi, Euan, Ethan and the late Timmy. Cherished great-grandmother of Alfie.

Everyone is welcome to call at her son Robert’s home, 3 Ormonde Avenue on Monday 29th between 4.00 pm and 8.00 pm.

A Service of Thanksgiving will be held in Hyde Park Presbyterian Church on Wednesday 1st July at 1.00 pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service and Northern Ireland Hospice online via flemingandcuthbert.co.uk or by telephone (028 93344242 Mon – Fri 9.00am – 5.00pm).

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all the family circle.
