Here's to the man that gave me a best friend and a home across the ocean. He always greeted me with a warm handshake, a hearty laugh, and a warm heart. I didn't know Ivan as well as I would have liked to but I know he was unwavering in his kindness, support for people, and joy that he brought to this world. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and Ivan gave this world 3 of them. I was able to bring my daughter to Northern Ireland this summer to meet Ivan & Phyllis for the first time. We ate delicious jam, toured their garden, and visited the old mini Cooper in the garage. It was good to be back home again with the people I have known and loved since 1994. I'm truly thankful that God brought me into this family. My life is exponentially better thanks to them. To Phyllis, Mark & Cathy, Robert & Debbie, Andy & Dulce, Lily & Olivia, and all the children I haven't met yet, we are sending you thoughts and love from Utah. Thank you for sharing Ivan with us.
