Dearly loved husband of Susan, much loved father of Pennie, Julie and Kirsten, loved father-in-law of Dominic and Michael, and devoted papa of Dylan, Pippa, Leila and Austin.
A Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration for his life will be held in Loanends Presbyterian Church on Friday 16th May at 1.00 p.m., followed by interment in the adjoining Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Macular Society online via flemingandcuthbert.co.uk or by telephone (028 93344242 Mon – Fri 9.00am – 5.00pm).

As a past President of the Northern Ireland Optometric Society and a highly respected figure in the profession, Rod's contributions to optics in Northern Ireland were significant and deeply valued.
